Merry Christmas-eve (and happy birthday Dad)! It's about 2.5 weeks until I get sealed in the Los Angeles temple to Ben. Everything is going to be small and so it's low stress for me right now. Everything is done so now I just have to wait. He moves out here on Jan 10th and we are in the process of looking for apartments in LA. I just graduated and am working full-time at Stansport, but I haven't completed a full week of work yet since it's the Christmas season and weeks are cut in half cuz the business is closed. I won't be able to work a full week until the week of my wedding... and even then that Friday I have to leave early or take the day off because I have to do pre-wedding photography. I'll probably just take the day off because I don't see how I'll be able to get things ready otherwise.
The reception will be sometime in May or June so everyone can come because Beth will be in school til April and plus April (oh yeah, I'm a new aunt! :D) is too young to fly yet and will be 5 months old in May. That's old enough for a baby to fly... right? Then we will probably still have to fly out to New York to have a Chinese reception for Ben's family. That's all I can think of for now. I'll probably update this after the wedding :) Don't pay any attention to the title of this blog-post.

New News is Better than No News!
So yes, we all know I fail at keeping a journal/blog. What else is new? Well, aside from going to CSUN now, Baboon is married, Jessi got engaged, and SO DID I! :D (Finally!) Though it doesn't seem like it because I still can't plan anything with Ben until he talks to his parents and gets a firm YES YOU ARE READY TO BE MARRIED from the big man upstairs (Which he should have done FIRST before getting my hopes up with the question and ring... but oh well). I'm going to mark *'s next to things that I USUALLY don't overlook and can figure out that it's out of place. So on to what happened:
About a month or 2 before, Jessi had brought up that she wanted to go to do baptisms for the dead with me before school started or at least got too much into it. Usually I would find some excuse to say no, *but I had a prompting that I should go, so we set a date for Friday February 17th. Before all of this, I should add that I told Ben that I wanted it to be a complete surprise to me when he asks, because it's REALLY hard to surprise me. But somehow, Ben is good at it. So anyway, February 17th rolled around. Jessi said she had called and set up an appointment at *2 to go with a large group. I didn't think it was suspicious at all that a large group would go in the middle of the day on a schoolday/workday. I told Jessi to be at my house around 9am so we could do wedding stuff before we had to leave and get ready. I also wanted to call the temple to make sure we didn't need to bring anything with us besides our temple recommends. *Jessi wanted to do it herself but was pausing a lot and didn't call right away so I took the phone and did it myself (She was scared to death that they would say "What? We don't have an appointment for 2pm..." but they just answered my questions and hung up). When I was getting ready I totally didn't put any makeup on because I figured after I was dunked, it would wash all my makeup off anyway. I also didn't put on the most fabulous outfit... I kept getting promptings that I shouldn't just go with "good enough" but I brushed that away -.- (My outfit didn't look BAD but it could have been better if I had known what was coming) I kept thinking to myself This would have been the perfect day to have Ben come down and propose... I'm going to make sure when I get home to tell him that.
So we left and *Jessi was videotaping me some of the ride, which I thought was strange because she said it was about to die, but I went with it. When we got to the temple, I was rushing cuz she said the temple people told her we needed to be there 15 min before the appointment and it was 10 til, *but she said she wanted to film the back of the temple where the bride comes out for her mom. I was huffy and started for the front door, but Jessi started going off the side way anyway so I followed her, miffed that we were going to be late. We got to the end of the walkway and saw someone was having a wedding when *I heard someone running towards us at full speed. I thought to myself someone is late for that wedding and they're going to crash into me. Great. I didn't turn around cuz... I don't know why o_O but instead of someone running past us, arms glomped me from behind. After that my eyes got really big cuz I knew this had all been setup LOL Ben had come from the airport with his cousin Stella by taxi and had just gotten there right before us. So he took me to the fountain to the side of the temple and proposed, of course I said yes, and Stella and Jessi took us around to take pics of us in front of flowers and the reflecting pool etc...
After the pictures we went to Santa Monica to Yummy Cupcakes, our eyes glazed over by the amount of frosting and sugar we went through, and walked along the beach back to the car. Then we spent 2-3 hours in rush hour traffic or trying to avoid rush hour traffic by taking side streets. That was a bad idea LOL. So now I'm engaged and just waiting until Ben is ready to be engaged...
